This is my fourth stay at the Coach House in beautiful Saffron Walden. The Coach House is delightful, stylishly furnished with a very comfortable living area and a big cozy bedroom. My favourite is the kitchen. It is fully equipped with generous work space and a counter for breakfast or just hanging out. In Saffron Walden The Coach House is perfectly situated so you can enjoy this beautiful English town. Five minute walk to The Common and ten minutes to the Market Square, coffee shops and Waitrose supermarket Nearby you have Cambridge. The ride on public bus is lovely. I can’t thank my hosts Henry and Joanna enough for their kind hospitality. Always available for anything you need. They made this fourth trip perfect! Alexandra

I had a wonderful stay, this place was well equipped it had everything you needed for your stay, Henry was very friendly and helpful, the hot tub was lovely and it was very peaceful to relax in after a nice walk. Munmit

Well appointed accommodation with comfortable bed and chairs. Easy walking distance of town centre and a short drive to other attractions such as Audley End. Set back from main road so quiet and peaceful. Richard

Wonderful find. Everything you would want for a stay in Saffron Walden and local area including ample car parking and a hot tub (by arrangement). Clean, comfortable, private and surprisingly spacious - like a Tardis. Easy walking distance to the common and town centre. Henry is a great host. JB

We highly recommend the Coach House and would certainly stay again. It is situated in a perfectly private and peaceful location yet only a short walk from the lovely town centre. It is beautifully furnished to a very high standard with many extra personal touches . Henry is the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to stay for both leisure and work. This is a real gem. R

About Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses. Saffron Walden has its own museum, within the grounds of the old castle, beautifully tended gardens in Bridge End Gardens and the The Common, a huge expanse of grass for public enjoyment, just two minutes walk from The Coach House.
