Had a lovely stay at The Coach house. Henry was so helpful, offered to make table reservations and even gave us the option to check out late. Clean, in fact, spotless and loads of small touches to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend market on a sunny day, which was in easy walking distance. Our first airb&b experience. Can safely say we are converts! Philippa

The Coach House was perfect for our short break in Saffron Walden. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We liked the fact that it is very private and just a short stroll into town and lots of amenities. Audley End House is just a few minutes drive down the road. Henry and Joanna are superb hosts and made us feel very welcome. Mark

Henry provided some basic essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher pods and w/machine pods. Also bottle of wine and pack of biscuits which was a welcome touch. Accommodation is cosy but modern and comfortable. Henry was friendly and helpful, even left a bucket and cloth to clean bird mess off our car. Thank you for your hospitality. We would stay again if visiting the area again. Lynn

Wonderful stay at the coach house. Started with excellent instructions for check in, and it was super easy to find. Located conveniently to town centre. The place was absolutely SPOTLESS everywhere you look. Each room had lovely decor and furnished comfortably, especially the bed! Henry could not have been more helpful and welcoming, couldn’t have asked for more! Elena

I would highly recommend staying here. Firstly, Henry was so easy to deal with and in such a friendly manner. The apartment had absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. The location was only a 10-15 minute walk into the main town through the village green. David

Wonderful find. Everything you would want for a stay in Saffron Walden and local area including ample car parking and a hot tub (by arrangement). Clean, comfortable, private and surprisingly spacious - like a Tardis. Easy walking distance to the common and town centre. Henry is a great host. JB

We highly recommend the Coach House and would certainly stay again. It is situated in a perfectly private and peaceful location yet only a short walk from the lovely town centre. It is beautifully furnished to a very high standard with many extra personal touches . Henry is the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to stay for both leisure and work. This is a real gem. R

About Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses.
