Just finished a great stay at this place. The place was clean and had everything you needed. Was able to wash my clothes, they had tea and coffee and robes and slippers for the hot tub which was great. Henry was kind and gave us a lift to the station when we left. These guys know exactly how to host an Airbnb!! Gisele

Excellent Stay, Henry was warm and welcoming. The accommodation was perfect for my partner and son, and was well stocked with everything we needed. Lovely little touches, we were welcomed with a bottle of fizz and an Easter Egg for our boy. We felt very secure and peaceful during our stay and would recommend to all. Adam

We had a lovely two day stay. Henry was very proactive in providing precise information on the location of the property, and greeted us to ensure we quickly settled in so we could have a cup of tea after a long journey. The property is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and secure. We were at Saffron Walden for a 90th birthday celebration so we did not have much time to visit the town centre which is a short walk away, which was a shame, especially as Saffron Walden has recently been named the best place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times. We would recommend Henry & Jo’s lovely place ….. and finally thank you Henry & Jo for the Prosecco and chocolate biscuits. Martin

Wonderful find. Everything you would want for a stay in Saffron Walden and local area including ample car parking and a hot tub (by arrangement). Clean, comfortable, private and surprisingly spacious - like a Tardis. Easy walking distance to the common and town centre. Henry is a great host. JB

Such a lovely place. Met with a very warm welcome. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay at The Coach House who is looking for a home away from home in a beautiful town full of character and charm. ST

Lovely Host, and everything was spot on. 100% would stay again. SB

This Coach House interior was tasteful and the facilities have clearly been carefully thought through. I found that the organisation and service was first rate, friendly, and professional. The setting is quiet and relaxing, while being within a comfortable walking distance to the town. JB

Fantastic place in an incredible location. The service was flawless and booking an ease too. AK

We highly recommend the Coach House and would certainly stay again. It is situated in a perfectly private and peaceful location yet only a short walk from the lovely town centre. It is beautifully furnished to a very high standard with many extra personal touches . Henry is the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to stay for both leisure and work. This is a real gem. R

About Saffron Walden

Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses. Saffron Walden has its own museum, within the grounds of the old castle, beautifully tended gardens in Bridge End Gardens and the The Common, a huge expanse of grass for public enjoyment, just two minutes walk from The Coach House. The impressive Audley End House, run by English Heritage, is within walking distance through the parklands that form the picturesque Audley End Estate.

Saffron Walden is very well connected with Stansted Airport only 12 miles away. The M11 junction to London is 5 miles, and the University City of Cambridge is just 15 miles to the north. The Coach House is perfectly positioned for trips around East Anglia with the added bonus of a local railway station for direct routes into Liverpool Street Station, London.
