Reviews
Fantastic place to stay, perfect for a couple but double sofa bed equally comfy for extra adults. Kitchen bigger than anticipated but otherwise it’s exactly as the photos. Very clean and tidy and perfectly presented. Henry and Jo were very welcoming and excellent hosts throughout our stay. Would highly recommend.

Henry and Joanna were excellent hosts. They were very accommodating and certainly gave our privacy. Initially, I was hesitant to book this place as it's a new listing but I couldn't be more satisfied with my stay. Would definitely recommend to those who are looking for a getaway! They ensured that we were comfortable and recommended places that were lovely. The accommodation was very clean and they had nice little touches. Great value for money and very lovely place!

About Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses. Saffron Walden has its own museum, within the grounds of the old castle, beautifully tended gardens in Bridge End Gardens and the The Common, a huge expanse of grass for public enjoyment, just two minutes walk from The Coach House. The impressive Audley End House, run by English Heritage, is within walking distance through the parklands that form the picturesque Audley End Estate.
Saffron Walden is very well connected with Stansted Airport only 12 miles away. The M11 junction to London is 5 miles, and the University City of Cambridge is just 15 miles to the north. The Coach House is perfectly positioned for trips around East Anglia with the added bonus of a local railway station for direct routes into Liverpool Street Station, London.
