The Coach House is a lovely place to stay. Perfectly situated to enjoy Saffron Walden. You’re two blocks from the common and from there you can go straight to the market place and other lovely shops, restaurants and the local supermarket Waitrose. AK
Henry wants you to make it your home from home, and there is all you need plus more. Great house, location and host. Easy 5 stars. S
Almost a secret hideaway Airbnb - fab garden setting in the lovely market town of Saffron Walden. Luxury surroundings with a special outside Hot Tub to ease away any stresses. A must for all who look for attention to detail when away from home. R
Henry is an absolute gem of a host. His accomodaton was lovely and he was so hospitible. I would definitly use his Coach House again. D
What can we say about the Coach House apart from absolutely perfect. The property is immaculate, clean and smells amazing. Close to the town for a nice stroll. We took Henry’s recommendations for Breakfast at Gluttons and Dinner at the Eight Bells and they did not disappoint. We had a day trip to Cambridge which was beautiful and only 25 min drive away. Would definitely recommend staying at The Coach House, we will definitely be returning one day. G
What a great place! Beautiful accommodation a stones throw from everything and a superb, accommodating host. Thoroughly recommend! S

This Coach House interior was tasteful and the facilities have clearly been carefully thought through. I found that the organisation and service was first rate, friendly, and professional. The setting is quiet and relaxing, while being within a comfortable walking distance to the town. JB
Fantastic place in an incredible location. The service was flawless and booking an ease too. AK

About Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden, placed at the north-western tip of Essex, is widely regarded as one of the most attractive towns in East Anglia. A busy market is held every Tuesday and Saturday in the historic Market Square, in the centre of the town. An exciting mix of big brand and independent shops occupy the streets leading to the Market Square, along with coffee shops, restaurants and public houses. Saffron Walden has its own museum, within the grounds of the old castle, beautifully tended gardens in Bridge End Gardens and the The Common, a huge expanse of grass for public enjoyment, just two minutes walk from The Coach House. The impressive Audley End House, run by English Heritage, is within walking distance through the parklands that form the picturesque Audley End Estate.
Saffron Walden is very well connected with Stansted Airport only 12 miles away. The M11 junction to London is 5 miles, and the University City of Cambridge is just 15 miles to the north. The Coach House is perfectly positioned for trips around East Anglia with the added bonus of a local railway station for direct routes into Liverpool Street Station, London.
